The Nominating Committee will be meeting this month to gather a slate of officers for the upcoming Lion year…step up for your Lions Club.
March’s events:
| March 5th | 7:00 p.m. | Regular meeting at the V.F.W. Father-Son Night. speaker will be former Packer George Koonce, now affiliated with the Marquette University Athletic Dept. The uniform of the day for this meeting will be coat & tie, but informal attire for the 2nd meeting in March |
| March 12th | 7:00 p.m. | Board meeting at the V.F.W. |
| March 19th | 7:00 p.m. | Regular meeting at the V.F.W. Report from the Nominating Committee. Mr. Rob Johnson will become a Lion in a ceremony conducted by Lion C.J. |
| March 2nd-April 13th | | 57th Annual Wisconsin State Lions Bowling Tournament in Platteville. Sign up sheets will be passed around at the March meetings. |
Upcoming events:
| April 5th | Annual fund raiser for the Center for Blind and Visually Impaired Children at the Radisson Milwaukee North Shore on Port Washington Rd. 2 Lions with vans are needed to transportation of items to the Radisson in the morning, and 3 couples are needed to help that evening. |
| April 8th | Combined Region Meeting in Waterford. Details as they become available. Club pays for all members who attend |
| April 20th | Lioness Champagne Brunch Honors Banquet for the President, Secretary, and Treasurer of each Club in the District |
| May 15th | State Golf Outing in LaCrosse |
| May 16th-17th | State Convention in LaCrosse |
| September 15th | Bob Elliott Charity Golf outing |
| September 18th-20th | USA Canada Leadership Forum in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan |
