Just two months left in our Lion year…and there’s a lot going on!

May 3rd9:00 a.m.New Officer Training at Whitewater High School
May 6th6:30 p.m.New Officer Training at South Milwaukee High School
May 7th7:00 p.m.Regular meeting at the V.F.W. Guest speaker: Jeanne Holden from the New Berlin Food Pantry
May 10th1:30 p.m.Casino event at the Union Grove Soldiers Home. This will be a joint effort of the New Berlin Lions Club, the Prospect Lions Club, and the Union Grove Lions Club. Lion Al Stigler has been the driving force behind this project. Meet at the park and ride on Moorland Rd. and I-43 at 12:30 p.m.
May 14th Board meeting at the V.F.W.
May 15th State Golf Outing in LaCrosse
May 16th-17th State Convention in LaCrosse
May 21st Regular meeting at the V.F.W. Annual Past President’s Night
May 26th Memorial Day—Remember…

June 14thInstallation dinner for Lion/Lioness officers for 2008-2009 at the Country Squire Supper Club, S72 W16373 Janesville Road, Muskego. Cocktails at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m. Choice Of Prime Rib, Checken Cordon Blue, or Deep Fried Shrimp.
June 18thRegular meeting at the V.F.W. Guest speaker Rick Johnson from New Berlin Utilities will talk about Milwaukee water & sewer and what it means to New Berlin. Mayor Jack may also attend and talk about the new Great Lakes Compact.
June 22ndCombined Lion/Lioness appreciation outing – a Brewer’s afternoon game and tailgate party. Details at regular meetings and in the next newsletter. Contact Lion Seb if you don’t sign up at a regular meeting.
